In network marketing, we have all heard stories about the multi-million dollar earners living the life that we only dream of… This is the promise our industry holds. The ability to attain total financial freedom while still having the time to enjoy it! So why do so few people ever get to the point of realizing their dreams in networking? I’d be willing to bet that they simply haven’t come to the powerful realization I like to call the ‘million dollar secret’.

It’s great to have rich friends isn’t it? Let’s say you and I are really close friends. And since I have found my fortune in the network marketing industry, I have decided to share my prosperity. Today is your lucky day! I am going to present you with a briefcase. Inside you will find one million dollars in cool cash! There is one stipulation though, you have to take the money with you everywhere you go! This means you can’t put it in the bank and you can’t take it home to hide it. You can spend it, share it or you don’t have to tell anyone you have it at all. You just have to take it with you everywhere you go.
Now let me ask you a simple question. Who should you trust with this secret? Should you tell everyone? someone? or no one? Hmmm… Most people would never tell someone they don’t know, like or trust about the contents in their briefcase for fear they might try to take it away from them! Right?
If you’re like most, I’d expect you would share the secret about your new found fortune with those closest to you, and otherwise move quietly and carefully throughout your day, protecting and guarding your briefcase from anybody else.
You see, RELATIONSHIPS are the million dollar secret, and your network marketing business is the million dollar wealth you have sitting inside your briefcase right now!
Our million dollar secret MUST be shared! But just as the cash example illustrated above, choose wisely who you share it with. Tell your spouse and/or all of your favorite people in the world. You know you can trust them! They will be proud of you, they will encourage you and share advice with you.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE relationships with people who are negative, discouraging and toxic to your growth both professionally and personally. Do not allow these people steal your dream! Do not let them fill your head with doubts!
Instead, work on building strong, professional and mutually helpful relationships with NEW, like minded people who have the potential to grow into your inner circle. Feed and thrive off of one another’s knowledge and successes. Become better people by supporting each other and learning from one another’s mistakes. These types of relationships build successful businesses!
